Our history...
Dory Trading Post is the result of our love of the little village of Youngstown, New York...promoting Youngstown is it's main goal.
Dory Trading Post is filled with an eclectic mix of works, from jewelry to photographs, driftwood art pieces, books - but the common thread is that nearly everything is created by local artists, authors, and artisans!
We also celebrate our local area beauty with Kayak, Paddleboards and bike rentals so visitors can explore the Youngstown area. Plus the proceeds from the bike rentals go to benefit our local children's recreation program!
We are like an old country store where people sit and talk and hang out, music fills the air outside our colorful store, like a snapshot from yesteryear. The inventory always changes, we feature nearly 50 artists and prices vary from $1.00 to $100.00!
This is a strong, close-knit community, neighbors, family and businesses all work together to make this the best place to raise a family or grow a business. Working together brings prosperity to all, one's success is often shared by many. "A rising tide, lifts all boats" couldn't be a more appropriate saying for our waterside community!
